I don't know, I think they would be hard pressed to deny the rebate if purchased online. It did not specifically say that online orders were invalid. Without doing so, I'd think they couldn't refuse it.

I just bought this at a local Sears, but the receipt shows the item as "Snow Brush MDS" instead of "Snow Brush, Fold". I am a little nervous that I got the wrong item.

If I would have seen that fine print, I wouldn't even have gotten this. I mean seriously... they can't afford $0.45 and an envelope to mail us our damn rebates.

The only reason I got this thing anyways was because I had the $5 in ShopYourWay Rewards credit to burn by Dec. 3rd.

FYI for all of those who used it on this purchase:
Might want to include a post-it note in your envelope that the purchase price was $14.99, and that you used $3.00 or $5.00 of ShopYourWay Rewards on the purchase. On the receipt, it deducts SYWR as "SYWR CPN #32 -$5.00".

Knowing these sketch-balls, they might deduct the $3 from your rebate payment, thinking the rebate exceeded your purchase price.

Yeah, to say the least. Plus, I opened the box and there was a loose plastic part. I'm still trying to figure out where it goes.

It's actually not a bad brush from my initial impressions. If you are still interested, the Sears Auto Center might have a ton of them somewhere. The one I went to had like 20+ boxes all stacked by the register.

Yes, it is in a cardboard box... not a plastic container or hanging somewhere in the small auto area. I just happened to see the display right before I was going to ask someone where it was.

Yeah wish I saw all this fine print first. Asking for a SASE is ridiculous, Plus I purchased online and selected in store pickup and used 100% sears points to purchase. Too much likely to go wrong here,

So if you plan to use the rebate, you should instead purchase the relevant item at a Sears cashier.

By "SASE", I am guessing you mean "self-addressed, stamped envelope".

There is also the issue of the the purchase location nd cash register receipt. Purchasing online (een for in-store pick-up) should not be vailid for the rebate. The rebate terms require the purchase and the store, as well as the cash register receipt.
