I think it is just a $10 gift card and it is definitely YMMV, as the Costco in Richmond, CA is not offering it. There is actually a decent deal through the My Coke Rewards website where you get $50 worth of coupons to spend on stuff like a free rotisserie chicken, etc. Probably just gonna go with that.

At the Pittsburgh one I was told you need to have a mailer stating the offer. She said it exists, but I personally havent rec'd it yet

The sales associates probably just divied up all the cheap membership cards among themselves, and are running amok in the store hoarding Kirkland batteries and 50 pound rice bags with their new gift cards.
