Stuck with a penny stock in zecco that is going good what fees can I expect.

I was able to transfer a large penny stock position to Fidelity with no problems earlier this year. It does take some time though. I would just talk to live chat with Zecco and ask them directly about the fees to sell. I don't know which stocks you have so some could be on the non-DTC list that could cost a lot of fees to sell.

It sounds like you made a lot of profit. If that is the case, I would just eat the fees before your position declines in value instead of waiting around trying to save a few dollars on fees. Good luck!

To my knowledge, you cannot transfer the security ownership, just the funds. Scottrade wouldn't even let me transfer a MM account, I had to cash out first. So you'd have to liquidate your position, pay the fees and then transfer what's left to another broker.

I just read the link about Penson. It's not worth the risk IMO. I'd be laddering out of the position stat. So not worth it if the thing gaps your stop and you're forced to sell a) at a lower target or in the worst case scenario b) at a net loss. Plus, if everyone is running for the door at once, you also risk not getting filled when if it really accelerates.

They r migrating to tradeking since zecco is becoming tradeking will cost .01 per share to sell em capped at 5% so hopefully wont be too bad.

Looks like it flatlined around the end of the year before more than doubling in the past month.

the website should tell you the fees and you should have known them prior to investing with them.
