Pet Food/Supplies Deals and Coupons

If you sign up for the Halo and Wellness newsletter, they send out coupons pretty regularly.

I do not have any dogs, so if anyone needs any insert coupons let me know. I did not get the beneful ones.

Are the Wellness snail mail or email coupons? My new kittens that were abandoned really like the Wellness kitten and I'm down to my last bag. Funny I got those kitten bags free at PetSmart months before I found the kittens, but that was when they had out a high value mq and a PSQto combine.

I'd love to find or make a great deal on the kitten.

I have PetSmart, PetCo and PSP. I also have something called Pet People or something like that. Is anyone familiar with their sales or if they accept competitor coupons and pricing?

I know food is more of a priority than toys but just wanted to put this out there ---
a lot of stores have holiday dog/cat toys that will be on deep clearance after the holidays.

Last year I stocked up on squeaking dog toy gift sets at Target when they hit 90% (automatic reduction, at store opening 7th day after Christmas).

If I remember correctly, there are usually "holiday" themed treats sold in various stores --- Petco had natural baked cookies that went pretty low in Jan/Feb but didn't expire until weeks/months later.

The grocery stores tend to have special packaging Purina treats --- expiration dates of those should be 2014 or so...

I just got back from the store and it worked beautifully. Plus I still have 2 $5 receipts to buy more later. I think they expire at the end of the year.

Hi there - so the wellness coupons as well as the HALO ones are from the e-newsletter - so email.

Wellness qs are only able to open two times with your email embedded on the coupon. Halo does not have that restriction.

The register prints one reward q at the bottom of your receipt. Both of my receipts from my last 2 transactions state $5 science diet reward.

Anyone know of good places to get dog toys, mostly squeaky toys? I hate paying $6 for a squeaky toy (and that's at a grocery store, much cheaper than Petsmart etc.) when my dog destroys it within 3 days.

I was hoping to combine a bag of HSD and a bag of Purina and receive a $5 HSD and a $5 Purina on the same transaction. My $5's say Purina, so I think it should work.

Wish I would have known about the can coupon when I traded for bag coupons. Doggone it or would it be catphooey? Yep, I might need a bit of sleep.

One suggestion would be checking out the target 'dollar spot' when specified colors (yellow dot, green dot, etc.) go to 70% off. They frequently have items in that area for our furry friends (bowls, toys, etc.). Sometime this year I picked up a couple of .30 bone-shaped toys with a squeaker inside and it has become my old english sheepdog's favorite!

Be aware, last I knew, and it's been going on for years that it will also discount your coupons by 15%. I haven't tested one in awhile, so maybe others can comment, but it used to just discount each line by 15%..

Is there a coupon link or is it just an in-store promo this time without a coupon? They used to have sheets with 3 or 4 coupons.

The email they sent is customized with your name and pet perks number. However, any recipient of the email can send the F&F to another email address. Not sure what it would look like then.
