Thread Details

waveI have been noticing lots of folks like me, with hungry cats and ravenous dogs, asking for deals/coupons, etc. I thought it would be a good idea to consolidate these deals into one area to make things easier for those of use who constantly need to save on these things!!Big Grin

I will start things off with:

Purina Beneful 7oz (trial size) bags at SWM--$1, there is a $1.50MQ out there, but the specifics elude me, I used all I had on Friday.......MM on dry dog food!!

Free Sheba 3oz cans of cat food---peelies found on Sheba or Temptations cat treats at WM. There are small bags of Temptations regular price .94, I found them on clearance for .50, so not only did I get cheap treats for the babies, but also free Sheba. Just a heads up, though, they have a pate and cuts. My felines won't eat the pate, but the dog loved it!!

Not a B&M store, but here is free Science Diet [facebook.com] hairball formula 3.5lb bag

Also found at SWM, found in 1 store out of 5!!! Tidy Cats Clumping litter--Active formula 20lb jug, $6.97 with a $1.50 peelie specifically for this formula. Nice scent, fairly good price..........

Has anyone noticed the cat scratcher poles that are carried at WM/Target are no longer jute rope? Some type of SeaWeed something or other--enough to jack the price from $14.97 to $19.97, or they have one with soft plastic fingers on it, along with the rope---for grooming--enough to ask $24.97!!!

Anyway, if the mods think this thread is a waste or in the wrong place, feel free to delete, move or ..............Wink

As for the wiki, since B&M deals change so quickly, I'd like to keep it to special offers from manufacturers and such--free samples, coupons etc., and if you notice one is expired or over, please remove it............Thanks, I hope we can keep this running and all score some deals!!!

Did you go to the Chandler one or the Phoenix one? I had no idea that we had these either and didn't bother to look them up until I read your comment.

We give Cosequin to one of our cats - not for joints but for cistitus (sp) I usually get it from Amazon, and placed an order yesterday for 2 bottles of 80. They were $15.xx per bottle so free shipping. However, when I got to checkout, Amazon is now charging Arizona sales tax, so decided to stop the order and look locally for it. Did not find at Petsmart or Walmart, so decided to go back to my order today. Today the price was $12.50! so still free shipping and of course a slightly lower tax. Amazon automatically changes your order if there is a price change, so sometimes it does pay to procrastinate.

Has anyone seen any decent deals on Fancy Feast cans? Or Friskies cat snacks? They have new favors I think my kittens would love. Thank you.

The free Friskies can from Petco is great, also any stores that you can use it as a match.

There are 2 flavors of Fancy Feast just for kittens that are a bit easier for them to digest. I picked some up at PSP last night.

Your best bet for cat food is probably a $/$$ with mq's stacked within.

RA the week of 2-24 (now) has Friskies canned for 10/$500 with $1 back and a limit of 2 that might double dip with the Purina monthly $5/$15. Dontknow They count for the anniversary deal also.

I know you asked about Fancy Feast and the best shelf price I know of now is PSP which I believe is .50 or .55 a can before any $/$$ or mq's. Canned deals aren't as lucrative as they used to be. RA used to give us Friskies canned beck in the days with the $/$$ coupons and an +up, but those days are gone. Sadwalk

Hopefully others can chime in on the treats for you. Those too used to be uber easy to get for free and even with o at Target, but none that I know of currently.

I'm going to get the girls the free can and let them try it again. Last time they barfed, lol. I know cats hate change, their tummies especially. They have been eating Fancy Feast for almost 10 years. I'm sorry I don't know what PSP is? Is that Petsmart or Petco. I have a $5/25 for Petco that I received in the mail. I bought it at Ralph's for about .46 a can, that is the cheapest I have been able to get it per can. Yes, I bought tons of free treats and their supply is almost gone. I'm going to Target later so ill report back on the price of the temptations cat snacks. We have a coupon stack. Repped you, thank u for the reply!

Walmart has peelies on some of the cartons of various purina brands -- they're good for $1 off of any 12, 24, or 30 pack -- and they have the 12 packs of fancy feast for about $6.28 (or is it $6.48).

Not as good as the deals from Target last August (where the Fancy Feast ended up at about 23 cents a can after MFQ and TQ) -- I stocked up then for my elder cat who needs canned food.

BTW, my cat seemed to prefer the Target brand cat food to Fancy Feast -- it's called Boots and Barkley and runs about $11 for a 24 pack.

If you do the deals at Walgreens -- use cat food as your "fillers" when needed for RR deals -- instead of cheap things you won't use.

Update:

Target just released a TQ for Sheba wet cat food cans $1off 5 that expires 3//30/13
There is a B3G1 MFQ in the 1/13 RP that expires 2/28 (short expiration)

I don't know the price of the Sheba at Target... But the best use of the coupons would be to buy 20 total cans -- use 5 MFQs to make 5 of them free -- and 4 TQ's for $4 off of the 20. So if Sheba were 60 cents a can, 20 cans would work out to $12.00 minus $3 for MFQs minus $4 for TQs -- so..... $5 for 20 cans -- or 25 cents a can. If the price is 80 cents, then the price would end up at 40 cents a can after deducting $4 for TQs and $4 for MFQs from the $16.00 starting price.

I've just found out the Sheba is on TPC for .55 a can through 3/2 -- so if you buy by 2/28 the math is like this:

20 cans = 11.00 less $2.20 for the MFQ less $4 for the TQ = $4.80 = 24 cents a can!

You can't use more than 4 identical coupons at Target so you would only be able to use 4 of the mfq coupons.

Ah yes... still a good deal -- I'm not sure if my Target has the software that restricts the use -- I haven't tried more than 4 in awhile.. last time I tried 5 they went thru lol. I changed my post to reflect the use of just 4 MFQ's -- that brings it to 24 cents a can.

Cool thank u very much!!! The price for the temptations was 1.52 for the snacks if anyone was wondering.

Last week I found bright green peelies for Purina $2 on large bags on dog and cat food and the plastic containers of Tidy cat that are good only on the large sizes. I've been in many stores since and have yet to find another. Sadwalk I wish I would have harvested a few more of those stickers.

I did see a peelie for $1 on Pedigree dog food at another WalMart. Does anyone have a dog here or are we all cat people? I keep tossing the dog coupons into the recycle bin but would be happy to send them out ROAK to someone that can use them. Smilie Just let me know. I mainly have RP's and not many, but if you're looking for a dog coupon from a store, please let me know and I'll try to remember to look. Smilie

Yes they do.

Up until about 2 years ago they actually doubled coupons, in my area. Darn show. Sadwalk I remember having some Fancy Feast free can coupons that were inside the Kitten Chow bags and I was able to get 2 cans for each one. Those days are gone, but I shop there all the time. If you have a PSP card and sign up for emails they send coupons from time to time. They also send snail mail cards for your pet's birthday. Sometimes they are $/$$ coupons and sometimes a small gift, such as a toy.
