Thread Details

waveI have been noticing lots of folks like me, with hungry cats and ravenous dogs, asking for deals/coupons, etc. I thought it would be a good idea to consolidate these deals into one area to make things easier for those of use who constantly need to save on these things!!Big Grin

I will start things off with:

Purina Beneful 7oz (trial size) bags at SWM--$1, there is a $1.50MQ out there, but the specifics elude me, I used all I had on Friday.......MM on dry dog food!!

Free Sheba 3oz cans of cat food---peelies found on Sheba or Temptations cat treats at WM. There are small bags of Temptations regular price .94, I found them on clearance for .50, so not only did I get cheap treats for the babies, but also free Sheba. Just a heads up, though, they have a pate and cuts. My felines won't eat the pate, but the dog loved it!!

Not a B&M store, but here is free Science Diet [facebook.com] hairball formula 3.5lb bag

Also found at SWM, found in 1 store out of 5!!! Tidy Cats Clumping litter--Active formula 20lb jug, $6.97 with a $1.50 peelie specifically for this formula. Nice scent, fairly good price..........

Has anyone noticed the cat scratcher poles that are carried at WM/Target are no longer jute rope? Some type of SeaWeed something or other--enough to jack the price from $14.97 to $19.97, or they have one with soft plastic fingers on it, along with the rope---for grooming--enough to ask $24.97!!!

Anyway, if the mods think this thread is a waste or in the wrong place, feel free to delete, move or ..............Wink

As for the wiki, since B&M deals change so quickly, I'd like to keep it to special offers from manufacturers and such--free samples, coupons etc., and if you notice one is expired or over, please remove it............Thanks, I hope we can keep this running and all score some deals!!!

This requires you to "like" them through facebook. You need a facebook account.

This is always implicit when you see a link to facebook. :-)

CVS has a good deal on Fancy Feast canned cat food:

It's on sale for 60 cents a can -- when you buy $15 worth (25 cans), you receive $4 in ECB (Extra Care Bucks) in return. The Cheddar Delights are included in the sale and there is a $1/6 coupon in the 4/28 RP, so:

Buy 25 cans, use 4 x $1 MFQ, spend $11 get back $4 ecb for a net price of $7 for 25 cans, or .28 per can.

Target has a sale on Tidy Cat's "Spring Scent" 20 lb jugs, at mine it was $6.99 each down from $8.99. There are $1/1 Target coupons up, and there are $1/1 manufacturers coupons still floating around I think. In addition, the jugs at my Target have peelies for 2 free (up to $1.18) cans of Fancy Feast with purchase of the litter. (I got the new "Mornings" variety, unfortunately my cat didn't think the chicken souffle was food.)

I really have to stop buying cat litter.

I've heard that the $5/$20 Nestle TQ works beeplessly on Purina (Purina is a Nestle brand).

So where do you find 25 cans of anything on CVS shelves?

She didn't say you wouldn't have to hit 12 stores just to find at least 6 on the shelf at 4 of them Teehee

The deal doesn't have to be done all at once -- I found 12 cans at one store last night -- fortunately I have a number of CVS stores nearby. Likely not a deal for someone relying on a single rural store -- but for those of us who find CVS stores sprouting up overnight seemingly everywhere -- it's a good deal. :-)

Sorry. I wasn't trying to be snarky with you. Just CVS for never having adequiate stock of anything. Especially with sale items.

I only have 2 CVS reasonably close - 1 1/2 mile and 3 1/2 mile. Usually neither one has what I want in stock. Perhaps they think if they get you in the store, you'll still buy SOMETHING. Needless to say I seldom bother to even go..

nod Hahaha! Was just thinking the same thing earlier today as I loaded ANOTHER Tidy Cat and A&H litter into my trunk from Target.

Scored FF 24pk also, $5/$20 Nestle TQ indeed beepless and stacked with item specific Q's without beepers. Paid with Shopkick TQ's so I am a happy camper! And small rebate from the A&H peelie helps also. There are many other Nestle pet items such as Alpo and Beneful; you can search the list here [nestle.com].

Anybody know if Pet Supplies Plus price matches competitor prices? I have a $10 coupon they sent me for not going in a long time (not sure why, I go there every onth or 2) so I want to get the food there instead of the competitor.

Edited to add: I called this morning once they were open again and they do price match (at least at my store, would think it's the same at all) as long you have the competitor's ad in hand.

Even if you cannot find enough cans at CVS you can mix with kitten chow/cat chow and or dog chow
I got 1 bag kitten chow, 2 bags dog chow = 1 2/1 dog chow insert - 1/1 kitten chow = 10 $
earn 4 EB's
I had a 8.99 EB to roll, so that was great
only thing was that I also wanted to get other items and realised the nestle deal is one per card, which is sad!

Word of warning on the Purina catalina it's iffy. Done 4 transactions so far and only two of the triggered the cat. Was a whole ordeal to get it fixed.

Go to purina.com/coupons for a $1.25 on one 3 lb bag Purina Cat Chow Healthy Weight. Tried to post a link but that coupon did not show probably because I had already printed two. Our cats love this.
Notice there is a Target coupon for $1 off Purina dry cat food that we can stack with this $1.25. So need to scope out Target's price on Healthy Weight. Buy $20 worth and you can use that $5 off Nestle purchase of $20 or more. (Purina is Nestle.).

I did 4 small bags of Kitten Chow last night at Target. I had the $5/$20 Nestle and $2 Purina Kitten Chow coupons that expire today. I can't print any Target coupons. I really could have used the $1 Purina 3.15 bag TQ, but it was still pretty good. The bags were $4.89 each, so I threw on a can of FF to make the $20. The cashier was skeptical, but finally scanned the coupon. I wasn't sure if I could use 2 $4/$20's with a $40 Purina purchase, so I did 2 transactions, along with the mw and tb's because I was there and had a few q's expiring. laugh out loud

A $1.50/2 Purina chow's printed on the first order and a $1/2 on the second.
