Seems like a good price / capacity ratio. With the 830s all but gone, and the 840s untested, I am looking for a drive at this capacity. If anyone has any opinions as to how this compares I would love to hear it. Need to get a new ssd as 60GB wont cut it anymore for the primary. Mushkin has always been good IMHO but I have never used their SSD and dont know how it compares with the top of the pack. Also considering the Intel 330 when on sale, but this is a great price
After reading reviews it sounds like this is considered a top tier drive based on controller/firmware, with the Mushkin name I'll prolly bite on this

"Capitalization is the difference between "I had to help my uncle Jack off a horse.." and "I had to help my uncle jack off a horse..""
830 = Gone never on sale again
840 = Untested / less life
intel 520 = $
M4 = $
I am not real happy with Win8 after "upgrading" and would like to do a fresh install on a new drive to see a performance increase. If booting direct to desktop (Laptop) Win8 really is better than 7. Unfortunatly it feels slower, probably cause I made the ultimate sin by not doing a fresh install. Unless someone can tell me the M4 or 520 are going on sale soon, I think this is a keeper. Just sorta hoping someone might try to talk me out of this. At >$50 less than the other 2, or not much more than their 120GB drives, this seems like a no brainer
