Any experience with using Amex Serve to fund new bank account?
If doable it seems like this might synergize well with the add $25, get $25 promo, especially since many accounts require a minimum $25 deposit to open and waive debit fees for initial deposit.
I'd like to do something like this: create serve account, load from debit, make initial deposit on bank account, use $25 bonus on everyday spending or possibly open an additional bank account. Thoughts?
- Will Amex allow this?
- Using a bank debit card or prepaid debit to load Serve shouldn't incur any fees (e.g. cash advance), correct?
- Has anyone successfully used Serve to make the opening deposit for a new bank account?
