Not the greatest price ever, but perhaps the greatest price ever not involving zombie coupons or purchasing them after a stampede of wild elephants runs through your house between 3:55 and 4 PM on the Fourth of July, during a hailstorm. Aldi has their own K-Cup knockoffs now, very reasonably priced at $5.79 for a 12 pk.

For those who don't know, Aldi's is the grocery store I affectionately call the "Trader Joe's of the Hood". They're not located in the world's prettiest areas, but they sell great quality stuff for dirt cheap.

You can bet the Trader Joe's knockoff K-Cups will be just about exactly the same for quite a bit more money.

I wanted to like Aldis but most of the meat and cheese seemed to be made in Mexico...our food corps go abroad to duck oversight and regs so I don't trust it...just like I avoid a lot of candy from the Dollar Tree because its made in China...been over a year since I've been in Aldis so don't know if my observation is true anymore....

PS what country did these coffee cups come from?

I was really hoping that when stores started selling their own K-cups they would help bring prices down.

Have yet to see this sadly.

Best in store deals I've seen with no coupons involved is at Costco.

Repped for bringing Aldi K-cups to my attention. It was a matter of time, but I'm really surprised about how high the price is, though.

38 cent Kirkland K-Cups for the win.

I was a manager there 16+ years ago so things might have changed but the cheese didn't come from Mexico back then and their coffee was very good.

But I also haven't stepped foot into one in 16+ years either (even though they are in nicer areas of the Chicago 'burbs) so things might have changed. Their price on k-cups is way too high for Aldi though...

I was at Aldi's and picked up some of these..the Coastal Blend from Beaumont Coffee. While making the first Kcup, the foil top loosened....and to say the least made a giant mess in my Keurig, grounds went everywhere! Won't be using the rest, and will be returning them! just thought I'd give you guys a heads up!
