Jabra Journey Bluetooth In-Car Speakerphone System $39 + Free Shipping

my car has aux input, i've tried projecting phone calls through it and its loud but the person on the other line hears themselves because theres an echo.

also there is no noise canceling, and the phone needs to be mounted to be close to you to talk.

the jabra is pretty awesome and i used to not be a believer but after using it for a week i'm sold.

Hmmm...this is little worry some, but since it is ordered, I will give it a go. If echo exists, then it is going back. No point in talking to someone via external bluetooth speaker/mic if call quality is poor.

I guess will find out this weekend.

Bought 3 of the units a few weeks ago. Returning 2 of them. The unit does not respond to the "answer" command when you receive an incoming call

What makes this a car speakerphone "system"?

Does it mute my radio when driving and getting a phone call?

If not, why not spend another $15 and just get a cheap receiver with bluetooth.

Only a few advantages I see:

1. If you rent a lot of cars and drive while out of town - this could be a god-send.


But if you have a newer car - most come with bluetooth already installed.

And have it mute your radio, hell with a mount now you can use google navigation and it will mute the music, tell you to turn, and music will go back on
