Print out the page with MicroCenter listing it for 169.99. I asked a lady on the floor if she can price match. I read her tag, and it said she was a manager. She said," Yes, we can price match." She took me over to Customer Service and she had someone order it from the site for me while adjusting the price, and I'll be picking up the order when it's ready in a couple of days.

Would this work with the 50 dollar discount on a z77 motherboard and pricematching at microcenter?

If I understand your question correctly, BestBuy will most likely NOT price match you if you buy a motherboard and processor together, as if walking into MicroCenter. It's MicroCenter's thing to give a $40 dollar discount if you buy a Z77 motherboard ON TOP of the already discounted 3570k for $169.99.

In other words, if I would like to buy a processor but don't feel like driving out to MicroCenter, I get BestBuy to price match just the processor. If I need both CPU and mobo, I'd go to MicroCenter.

Since there's a deal on the Biostar Z77 mobo, just do what I did...

If this board only supported displayport it would be perfect. I ended up purchasing one for my new HTPC build.

I just recently got Best Buy to price-match a 3770K for me (229.99) over the phone on Monday, ANd would have pmed the xbox 360 bluetooth earpiece as well for 19.99 but it expired); it should be here Thursday. From what I gathered, since MC was not in my area it was one reason why they could do it. I thought she made a mistake but that's what the rep from BB told me... sounded weird but w/e i went with it and got a sweet deal I think.

So, my plan is: Shop TD, MC and as many others I can find that BB will price-match and just shop @ BB. Haha, it's two miles away... plus tax tho :/ ~~Cheers

Oh, and thanx OP, I got one. Was a hard decision between this and the MSI or Asus.... i basically closed my eyes and pressed the button on this one. As long as it OCs good and is stable, good LAN stability (for FPS gaming), i'm happy.

I just called my local best buy over the phone and asked if they pricematched cpus and they said yes. Gave them the name/sku on microcenter and they pricematched it. Came out to like 178$ for the 3570k.

I got 2 of my 3770k to 4.8ghz with max temps of 60 degrees on prime 24hrs.

How do I combine rebates with only one upc? Rebate apps say attach original upc. Do I just submit both apps in the same envelope?
