NOTE: While a good buy, this is the BASIC model, that is without the 3.5" bracket with screws, SATA data and power cables, mounting spacer, and SATA to USB adapter cable. This model is the Samsung MZ-7TD250BW.
To be clear, the "B" in the model number designates the 'basic' version. |

I know there's no time machine, but for people who might have missed it, this 500GB was $300 and 250GB was $150 in black friday. I didn't buy it even then since I already have enough SSDs, and I want the Pro version if I buy one. I think the price can be much better this Christmas season.

What cable do I need for SATA to USB adapter cable? Can anyone give me an idea? not sure which one to order. I am putting this in x230 laptop. Thanks

B&H has the Samsung 840 Series 500GB for $349 and free shipping too. What made B&H's deal better for me was no sales tax for those outside NY.
