Wish i didnt buy the Zyphr Bluetooth HR monitor yesterday...
Expensive makes you cry once, cheap makes you cry multiple times.

The code also works for the FR110 without HRM for $10 less. |

I absolutely love my 405cx and the bezel has not been an issue. I run in heavy rain and no problem.
110 is quite basic and good as a starter GPS watch, but i would pay a few dollars more and get a superior version such as 410 which is greatly discounted right now. |

if i didn't have the 405 i would jump on this just to have real buttons instead of the touch bezel. Last edited by robertdilbert; 12-04-2012 at 05:21 AM.. |

Two thumbs up fro the 110 - Have had one for the last several months and absolutely love it:
Pros: 1. Not big and bulky, 2. Easy to get on and off. 3. Operation is a breeze. I had it programmed for my height/activity level/time in about 2 minutes. 4. GPS location is sometimes fast and sometimes not, but I think that has more to do with satellite location than the watch. I just set it to search while I'm getting my stuff on and stretching and by the time I'm outside ready to run, it's good to go. 5. Battery life is very good - lasts me about a 4-5 runs (<10mile runs). Lasted for my marathon without a problem. Cons: 1. Sometimes, while charging, the screen goes blank and you have to do a "reset" by holding down the light button while plugging into the computer and then letting go. I don't know if it has a sensitive charge protection circuit or something - but this has happened on three occasions when charging. The reset works fine, and the watch retains all my info, but I'm not sure why it happens... 2. Distance tracking is not perfect, but if you've done any research at all on GPS watches, you'll know this is true of all of them. However, for training purposes, it works great! |

The 110 is a great 'beginner' watch. I have a 405CX and was considering switching because I thought this would be an upgrade. Turns out this watch lacks A LOT of features the 405 includes. The 110 doesn't have interval training or the virtual partner.
This guy does great reviews on Garmin watches. [dcrainmaker.com] |
