Cravebox - Program Updates

Unless my coffe box this week is great, im done with them

Wow, I don't buy Craveboxes but if I did I surely wouldn't after reading that. Maybe I'm overly sensitive but it seemed ... offensive in some small way. "Scratch my head and wonder why people are complaining".... wow!

I totally agree, I'm offended. The Holiday Spruce up box was a joke and a complete rip off. They are getting paid something by all of these companies to promote their items and I'm sure they get the samples for free, so Cravebox should chalk up shipping and handling as a buisness expense instead of passing it off to the customers. If I wouldn't have received the totally AWESOME Dog Lovers box a few months back, I might not have been that upset about the Holiday Spruce Up box. But the two just didn't compare and I think the dog box might have even been a $1 cheaper.

I was really truely in shock when I got my first crave box it was the hunts only for Kentucky box and it was pure junk. I had to throw a fit and they gave me a free credit to get another box which I used for the coffee box which I am not expecting to be that great either. I am done with them either way. There are just to many crap boxes and I agree they keep saying the money is for shipping but there is nothing in weight for the boxes to cost what the claim they do. I have to say in there emails to me about giving me a credit there use of words were rather shocking like Ok cool dude? I was like umm ok lol...

If you notice it seems the people who didn't get a box or happen to be new to them are the ones who cannot understand why people are a bit upset. Well, if you never received a box before how would you possibly know what it feels like to pay for something only to be sent small samples that don't justify the cost of shipping.

I liked how things were in the very beginning when it was a flat rate of $10 and you were sent new products to try. Once they went to this lottery system with so called limited edition boxes and raised the prices it seemed to go downhill from then on.

I was told that the people who don't like or pretend not to understand us being upset its blog/website owners who get credit for driving people to there page? That would make more sense to why some people seem to take it so personal when you just tell the truth about how awful the boxes are? But also could be some clueless people who have no clue there being ripped off but I really can't see how that can be?

I totally agree with you. I also suspected some of those bloggers are in it for their own benefit.

What benefit? I understand why you think that, but not sure on what the bloggers think they would get out of it?

I haven't been in the mood to blog about these boxes ever since they went to these special boxes. We are getting completely ripped off here. We get a lame box, that we paid for and we are expected to share our opinions on. Heck at least with Bzz, we get a free kit.

Crave wants us to PAY more then the box is worth. Blog about the box. Put a video on YT. Attend a Twitter party. Plus tell all our friends about the products and how awesome Cravebox is?

Well, alot of time companies will hire professional bloggers in which they either receive monetary compensation for their time and efforts and/or free products. I would not be a bit surprised if they have this type of system in place. I am a blogger however I have never received any product for free from them nor monetary compensation so why should I put forth time and effort into posting a review on my blog which would not benefit both myself nor the reader as I would not want anyone to have to dish out their own hard earned money to get nothing worthwhile in return.

They get credits to get a free boxes and get the special get the boxes without having to apply. Look on there site the info is on there to contact them but I am sure you have to have a lot of traffic? I know this has to be true because I checked a few of the people giving me a really hard time about being mad about my lame box and they all had freebie blog/websites and all raved and encouraged there followers to sign up. I really don't think this company will last there pretty much a joke and people will only be fooled for so long. The fact that the women from Cravebox is posting about people being so unhappy speaks volumes.

HA! What a witch. You mean to tell me it cost the $13 or $14 (whatever it was) to ship the Holiday Spruce-Up box? Ok Pinocchio I totally believe that one. I'm so bummed about this. I loved the whole Cravebox idea and I loved previous boxes. Then the holiday's came and the boxes got lame and not worth what was paid. Bummer. Maybe some of us should get together and come up with our own company. We could call it the SlickBox.

They say they're a "discovery service." That's excellent, since I discovered the stuff they send out isn't worth the money. No, not even the shipping.
