Edited to add: Love how there is nothing wrong with the cravebox program but it is only the peasants that need educated! lol

My favorite part is where we only pay for shipping... They don't pay their employees? If we only pay shipping, why would you mail canned goods that have been around for years?

Anyone trying the Winter box giveaway? I am going to give this one last shot and if the box sucks again then I'll be canceling.

Nope, I'm going to pass. Only 1 out of the last 4 or 5 boxes I've received in the last 5m have been good. I'm hoping for the new mothers one for my sister and I think that's it.

ETA - In the Thanksgivings pgk things were left out Yes, they emailed us to let us know of the 'mistake' but why not still mail out the coupons for the free items? That didn't sit too well with me.
I think I may just stick with Birchbox & TestTube.

I totally agree. I could not believe the crap that was in that one. I got bigger samples from Startsampling for free! The one before that had the Foldedcards.com code in there that was their saving grace. I'm done with them too. Wish I could get in on Goodies.co but they are only in beta.

They didn't handle that well at all and I can guarantee that stock stuff will sit in my cupboard until it rots.

why not donate the stuff that rots in you cupboards to a homeless shelter, etc.

It's not in it's original packaging so who knows if they can take it. My Knorr Chicken Stock arrived as 4 individual tubs, no directions on how to reconstitute it or anything.

I just got into Goodies last month and also ordered a couple of items from that box when they had free shipping durng CyberMonday. I can honestly say that I had never even seen some of the items in the stores and certainly never sampled anything that was in the November Goodies box. Now that is a product discovery service.
I did have canned green beans from Del Monte before and right now I am stocking 10+ bottles of Torani syrup at home, only one of which I bought in the store (on clearance + coupon). So the product discovery angle from Cravebox has been extremely disappointing.

I am going to try the Goodies program. The price of $7.00 seems more reasonable. The cravebox program seemed to start out being very popular. Maybe CB got a little full of themselves, thinking that people would be happy spending even more than 10.00 shipping and handling to receive a box. Their math is off, when they say that the value of the items are very much higher than the shipping cost. For the spruce up box, the value of the actual products are very much LOWER than the cost we are charged.
