I find that I have to sign up as soon as they add the build to the schedule. It is nice that they don't hand out the kits to anyone, they check off the list and you have priority. Sometimes they have extras of that days kits if you weren't able to register and sometimes they have a different kit. I really like they way they run it.

Registration usually open up about a month before the actual event. And they fill up quick. But my kids have so much fun and they love that they were able to build their own toy.

I've forgotten my slip once and walked right up at 10 and they gave me a form to fill out, didn't even ask if I registered or not. I have noticed though that even when we leave 15-20 minutes later, people still straggle in and they have kits available. Interesting since it's always filled pretty quickly on the website.

I would just get there a couple minutes early. Next workshop is 1/5/13 from 9am to noon and it's a Diamond Birdhouse.
