Best Universal Remote - $50 or less
I have been using a URC 10820 Universal remote (linky [amazon.com]) now for about 3 years. It still works great but almost all the text has rubbed off the buttons. I am looking for a newer remote to replace this one, and would really appreciate any suggestions.
I bought a Harmony remote about the same time and I didn't like it. I wasn't crazy about the whole "I want to watch a movie" functionality. All it did was turn on my DVD player and turn off the TV, the amp, etc. I am looking to control TV, Cable Box, DVD, Audio receiver, CD. I prefer having lots of access to each devices functions over just simple channel +/- / vol +/-.
