I still haven't gotten my $100. After convincing the Amazon person that I was in fact supposed to get an automatic $100 within 7 days and not a gift card code emailed sometime before March 31, she said that today is listed as the day I'm supposed to get the credit and if it doesn't show up by end of day to call back tomorrow. Did the credit just show up under available gift card balance, or did you have to input an emailed code? I've checked my spam folder just to be safe - no email and no automatic deposit. I hope it shows up sometime today since I was waiting on that to order a wall mount for this tv (any recommendations btw?)

UPDATE: Still no credit. Called today after checking to make sure it didn't show up in my account, email, or spam folder. Was told they are "working on getting me a new code" and that it may take a few more days...

I called Amazon as well, and they confirmed I would receive it tomorrow (Friday). TV itself shipped out on Weds night, arrived at the local delivery company on Thurs, and was delivered to my door on Friday.

I got an email from Amazon today letting me know that the credit was applied to my account. It doesn't show the balance anywhere that I can find, but if I add an item from Amazon.com and proceed to check out, the promotional credit is applied. I received my TV on Wednesday.

The price dropped back down again. I just called and got my 39 dollar credit for the price drop... Took all of 3 minutes. Too easy not to do.

I called today to get the 100 dollar credit for the price drop of the 47inch today and was granted it. But I am still waiting on my $100 dollar promo credit. The rep said it was for users who signed up for the Dish, but I explained to him what was on my screen shot and he said that I should received it 7 days after ship.

I hope the do not confused my 100 price drop credit with my 100 promo credit.

Do anyone know if they received a amazon code or it just post into your gift card account??

Neither, it's auto added to the "promo credit" section of your account. You don't see it on your gc balance or anywhere actually - just shows up when checking out with eligible items. Also if you have a gc balance, the promo will be used first.

Have had the tv for a bit and really like it - expected worse at this price.

Exactly. My credit finally showed up as an email a couple days ago. It doesn't show anywhere until you try to check out with items "sold by and shipped by Amazon" in your cart, so make sure to use it before you forget about it since it does expire eventually. My suggestion - buy a nice wall mount for it and any cables you might need. That's what I did :-)

How does this stack up with Samsung UN55ES6100? Cant decide between these two. Other than price obviously.

So according to that, if you didn't place the order by Dec. 8, no credit for you, now go?

When I placed my order last week I saw a page that said "You qualified for a $100 promo credit!" but I never saw anything after that. No email or anything. TV should be delivered in the morning.

These promos come and go every few months/weeks - there were two in December. If you ordered during the second one, as written in the little yellow box at the top of the page when you ordered - it will be emailed to you within 7 days after the tv is shipped.

Always good to take a screen shot of the order page when there are limited time promos.
