Anyone have experience with the Optimus Slider? Is is fairly smooth or does it have a lot of lag? Can I load up most of the apps in the app store? Has anyone tried playing movies (divx/mkv) through moboplayer or another android app?

If you use your cash balance you can avoid buying sales tax. Also if you got in on that Halloween deal $50 for $60 Virgin Mobile, this deal becomes pretty slick. I bought one of each. One as a backup for my Triumph and one slider for a home phone.

Slider is very smooth and superb reception. Only issue I have is the internal memory is pretty lousy. I have 7-8 apps and Im left with "internal memory low" all the time. I suppose I could root and/or partition the SD card and then move a couple of the bigger apps, but oh well.

I would love a dash cam. Having had a dash cam for the one accident I've been in would have made dealing with the insurance company easier for my friend even though there was a police report detailing what happened, at least what we said happened because there were no other witnesses (I was a passenger in a vehicle that was literally pushed off the road by a semi; the car rolled over in the process; the semi never stopped). I was just pointing out that there are people who do not want a dash cam - typically those who are at fault in accidents.

if you had a dash cam and the accident was your fault, then as long as you were conscious, i would think you would just hide it or destroy the evidence or whatever. Even if you weren't going to pretend that it wasn't your fault, that footage would do you no good. And you own it and can do whatever you want with it.

I haven't finished reading through all 12 pages yet, but I am looking for a $30 SERO 500 min plan replacement. I'm done with my TP2 and Sprint clearly wants to push us off the plan.

Is this a good Android phone and plan? Any recommendations? I am looking for unlimited data, text, about 500 anytime min and the ability to use the phone for my WiFi tablet. So many options, hard to compare the inflated rack rates with the prepaid, post paid, paid paid, etc...

I reserved one of the $50 Samsung Galaxy sIII from Sprint. But am now reconsidering. Or should I wait for the Nexus and see what plans emerge?

I am thinking to get the cheapest possible prepaid plan (no data and messages; minimum talk time).

It appears that T-mobile has the cheapest Pay As You Go plan, where the refill is $10 (30 minutes) valid for 90 days. My total cost would be $40/year. I can only buy a phone from the link below. Will HTC One V (Virgin Mobile) phone work only with min $35 pm plan ? Is there any possibility to use this phone for $20 pm (PayLo) plan ? Are there any other cheaper options available ? TIA.
