MJMerlina in post #27 noted that the $400 card has the best payout: 50 / 300 = .166666666666667 75 / 400 = .1875 90 / 500 = .18 So, to do a deal of $2000, do five transactions for the $400 gift card. That will result in five $400 cards -- which can be consolidated into one $2000 paid card -- and five $75 promo cards. If you want to use at least one of the promo cards on this order, place your order via phone or chat. Online orders are limited to one gift card per transaction. The balance if any can be paid via credit card. Phone/chat orders are limit to three payments (promo1, promo2, credit card would be three payments). If the final cost is under $2150 I would try promo1, promo2, and then paid. This might not be successful. While not my experience, there are posts above noting that when a promo card is used, a credit card is required. That would mean using promo1, paid, and credit card. If you want to end up with one fewer promo cards and do not mind losing out on $15, do 4x$500. Last edited by bpvh; 12-07-2012 at 12:20 AM.. |

Does anyone have an idea about making the following purchase if it works out.
Buy $300 and receive $50 Use $300+$50+$150 =$500 to purchase a $500 gift card and receive a $90 Egift Card. Would be a gain of 90+50 = 140 Promotional Gift Card. I would end up having a $500 Gift Card + $90 Promotional Egift Card = $590 for any Dell Purchase. |

The above deal simply combines the Dell AMEX Sync deal and the Dell e-gift card deal. The Dell AMEX Sync deal works according to the wiki of the thread "Enrollment CLOSED American Express $150 statement credit with single purchase of $599+ from Dell, other Amex Twitter offers still OPEN". LINK. The Dell e-gift card deal of course works. The only part that might not work any more is the additional 10% off coupon on the Dell AMEX Sync deal. If no 10% off coupon, the total discount on the Dell AMEX Sync deal would be $150 not $200 ($150 + $50). So a $600 gift card purchase -- there is no limit of $500 on physical gift cards from Dell.com -- would have net cost of $450 after the $150 AMEX sync credit. You can place as many orders as you want. The more orders you place the more likely you will have to call in to get the orders released especially if you have never done a Dell e-gift card order through cashstar before. |
