New Dell eGift Cards with Promo Bonus $300 = $50 Bonus, $400 = $75 Bonus, $500 = $90 Bonus

Hey guys I am selling my Alienware I got from Dell to get a 17R SE since the Alienware is just to spendy for me.

What I am wondering is if I bite on this how long will it take to get the gift cards?

Reason I ask is in true SD fashion, deals come and go quick, so I don't want to pull the trigger right now, but I will if I have to.

Someone did manage to get it to work on the last amex/dell deal with the dell.cashstar.com website, they did 500 and 100 in two transactions and it worked. I'm not about to be the guinea pig this time around though

How quickly do you recieve the GC and are able to use it to make a purchase? is it instant?

This promotion is pretty awesome but be careful. I was able to get an Alienware M17X fully upgraded last year for $1350 shipped but they will only let you use 3 total forms of payment. In some cases it may make sense to buy the $500 since the promo codes can't be stacked, only the regular gift cards. If you plan correctly though you can get some amazing deals.

Just a heads up, you will also have to call your order in on the phone because they only accept 1 gift card per online order. It was a pretty big hassle for me last year but it worked out in the end. Make sure you give the promo gift card number first too so that if there is going to be any excess it is on your non-expiring gift card.

I'm just looking for a basic laptop. Would the Inspiron 15 be a 'good' computer for that? I have a $50 gift card already. So if I bought a $300 gift card I'd get a $50 bonus to equal the $400 it costs (plus tax).

That gets me an i3 processor (I don't even know much about processors at all) and 4gb ram. For $400 there isn't a better deal out there with this free $50 is there?

However good deal this sounds what to buy from Dell? LOL.

Let me know if amex sync still works on egc as it is from another vendor

Are these gift cards usable at Dell Small Business? I want to get a Latitude.

How does this work? I've never bought a dell egc.

If i buy the $400 egc will they send me that and the $75 egc within the next day?

I'm planning on getting a more expensive laptop and charging $600 of it to my amex (for twitter deal), then using the $400 + $75 egcs for the rest of the purchase.

Some people get this quickly, some takes hours, some don't get them at all.
No real good logic for it, except when things get hung up with your credit card.
