And reliability is something we can discuss in terms of failure rates. Just as how people know that a Honda Civic is more generally reliable than a Ford Mustang or something. SandForce 2281 has the highest rate of failure while Intel and Samsung has the lowest. [Note: SandForce seems have to resolved their high failure right and now might be the same as the others] Furthermore Intel and Samsung are extremely large companies that have better quality control and testing on their products. More money to test and ensure quality. Of course you might own one that never causes a single problem and we can't discuss 1 particular drive's future reliability but overall we can deduce what's more reliable than the other. |
