One way to see the discounted price :
1. Make sure you aren't logged into your account on Panasonic site.
2. Register and create an account at https://www.starbuckspartnerdisco...Login.aspx
3. Login to the site and select the Panasonic store.
4. Go to the Panasonic store from that link and then search for P60U50 and you will see the discounted price.
5. Checkout and create a new account during the process to checkout with the discounted price.
Another option for those who can't see the discounted price in the EPP site or don't want to buy from Panasonic:

I got it from Amazon for 849 a few weeks back. It just shipped yesterday, with an estimated arrival date of this coming Monday.
I personally feel better buying from Amazon knowing their price guarantee and return policy is top notch. Plus it comes interest free for 12 months, so I can keep my cash in the bank earning my mega 1% for a while longer.

This was previously $675 on EPP (maybe 6 weeks or so ago). Also, Sam's and Costco have had this for $800 recently (though Sam's stock is low, it is still there in some places). Given the trouble that I know people have had with EPP returns (even if the screen comes cracked), I personally wouldn't bother...and I desperately want a Panasonic plasma as big as possible. FWIW, the "return policy I have heard is basically 15% restocking PLUS return shipping on a 60" set. Have fun with that. OTOH, many have received the set and are happy. |

I've heard of people having good luck getting Best Buy to price match from the Panasonic store, so that may be an option to avoid scary return policies. |

From what I've heard, the trick is to open the box when it's delivered and check for cracks before signing for it.

Best buy has the 50" model for $699 on sale now. So it looks like that is a decent deal to me.
