If your LG tv has a wireless port this would work with it. My model is not listed in the supported list, but has the wireless port and this thing worked. I have 47LW5700 from Costco.

See mod to make it work for most monitors and televisions with HDMI input, https://plus.google.com/u/1/101948760925084043079/posts/btdqMZqCzEA

In a nutshell...

Add a power supply and splice it to the fat + and - wires (black and red), then it'll work on any hdmi input.
If you want to switch inputs via serial follow this guide on AVSforum:

### Mini FAQ
------------------------------------------

Is this a good price?
Google Shopping says very much so. [google.com]

What does this do?
This will simply send a video and/or audio signal wirelessly from a transmitting devices to a receiver.

What inputs that the transmitting device have?
(aka - "Can I use this with a...?" Part I)
  • HDMI
  • Component AV Input
  • PC Input (VGA / RGB PC)
  • 3.5mm Audio Input
What output does the receiver have?
(aka - "Can I use this with a...?" Part II)
The receiver is limited to only a HDMI device.
This means that the television, monitor, or home entertainment receiver that you are trying to send a signal too needs to have a HDMI.

Can I use a laptop with this?
If your laptop has either a VGA [google.com] or HDMI connection, then yes. You can use the 3.5mm audio input to send an audio signal along with the VGA connection (HDMI does audio and video already).
If you run a Apple product with a display port, then you will need an adapter [google.com].

How does this work?
These devices creates a ad-hoc 5GHz wireless connection and send data over that connection.

What is the range?
The manufacture has specified 50 feet.

Can I use the switching feature if I modify this to work with non LG NetCast televisions?
Not 100% sure, but it doesn't sound like you can.

is this same as this?
http://www.shopping.hp.com/en_US/...onnect-Kit ?

I have 2 of the HP wireless tv connector, recently I haven't not be able to watch tv wirelssly. I think the HDMI port on my TV stopped working. I have 4 HDMI port on my TV , i hooked the reciever's cable to TV's HDMI ports but it still says CHECK VIDEO SOURCE. When it worked, I saved lots of blank dvds cos I was able to watch wirelessly from my laptop to TV.

All4cellular is also selling them on feebay for $20 w/ free ship.
Does not save the $2 from OPs coupon, but you don't pay $2 shipping, seems a wash on price but easlier to paypal.

Delete the space at the end the coupon code. It will make coupon work,

No real use for it yet but I will find one. Hope that comment about 5ghz wifi isnt an issue.

can you hook the transmitter up to a DirecTV box and send the signal to a TV via the receiver in a different room? Does it thus have HDMI input on the transmitter and HDMI out on the receiver?

Reviews on Amazon are hit and miss. But alot of 3/4 stars from people saying they paid anywhere from $60 to $400 over the past 4 years. For $18, it will at least be a fun toy to play with for me.

Seems like it would be a great product for a conference room for hooking up to a projector without running wires.

Yes, that is exactly what it is for. Just remember that you will need to perform the early mentioned "HACK" if you do not have a supported TV.

No, Idea how or if your HDMI port stopped working. I would test it with another wired HDMI input. But HDMI ports can break, believe it or not.

This only works on supported LG TV's without a modification to the reciever. You can use any device(theoretically) that has an input connector on the transmitter.

Can you seriously not read??? Specs say up to 50 feet. But that all depends on interference and line of sight just like all wireless devices in the world.

Unfortunately it uses 5Ghz and will interfere with 5Ghz WIFI signal. Anyone has real experience on this? Just wonder should I cancel the order.

i have 2 laptops and 2 desktops, out of the four computers, only one of the laptop has HDMI port. I used to hook up my HP wireless TV connector kit from my laptop to my TV and watch wiressly but now the story is over. I thought my HP WIRELESS TV CONNECTOR kit became junk so I used my other unopened kit but it is same with that one too, so it must be that something went wrong with my TV's HDMI ports.

I don't think the HDMI port on my laptop became junk becos my TV still says PC ADAPTER CONNECTED, CHECK VIDEO SOURCE but I could be wrong and it maybe that the HDMI port on my laptop is junk now.
