1000 Free United Airlines Miles - Posts Instantly

There was a story recently on one of the design related sites that perhaps 60% or the accounts on fb and twitter are fake and bot owned...created just for marketing purposes.

I have the same problem. The server crashed when it tried to create account. It used your United account, but didn't create a bckstgr account. If you login your United account, you should see 400 miles. So you can't reuse your United account to sign up a new bckstgr and you can't login. Farking limbo, lol

Just bad programming.

nope. i signed in my united account. i do not see any new 400 miles posted.

now i dont know what to do. i sent them a support question from their webpage form but haven't heard anything from them for more than 30 hrs already. i am not sure if they received my question or not.

like I said, bad programming...I was just lucky that I got 400 points before the server crashed.

This should be easily fixed with database update.

Had the same problem, as well. I tried to explain this to them and they sent me to their password reset link and they said if that didn't work, contact United. It has nothing to do with United, but has to do with the server crashing, just like myamex says............ get it fixed, please.

Signed up on the 5th..checked my account last night and saw all 1000 miles had posted on the 5th.

For those who are concerned that this is not legit, bckstgr is on the United MileagePlus "Earn Miles" page. Also, if you are logged into Twitter and Foursquare prior to registering at bckstgr, you do not have to type in your password to link the accounts (just check the appropriate box on your bckstgr profile page and the social networking site will ask you for your permission to link accounts). I'm not sure about Facebook because I can't access it at work.

I got all my miles posted on United. It also extended the expiration date by six months as well.

Partial sums. You can't buy anything with a coupon, but people use them because they have a positive effect. Your miles add up.

Miles cost $35 per 1,000 miles plus a 7.5% excise tax

Isn't giving your password to your United account risky? Someone can log into your account and transfer or use your miles?

What does 1000 miles mean? You can fly to somewhere that's 1000 miles away?
