This isnt that good of a deal on these older blades they have been on here before for a dollar maybe a dollar 50 is ok this is almost 2 dollars a blade years ago you could get gillette fusion proglide for that much. That said all you have to do with sharper gillette blades is push it the wrong way up the inside of your arm and it will re true the blade "resharpen it" like a truing steel(sharpening steel) does. I have 24 gillette fusion proglide blades and just as a test I've been using the same blade now for 10 months. Sure it doesnt feel as good as it did at first nor is it as effortless and its harder to get to the backwards stubble underneath my neck but its still shaving and retruing the blade does improve the shave tho it makes the gillette fusion proglide feel more like the too close blade spacing of a gillette fusion but not as bad as that blade. Oh yeah someone suggested storing the tip in mineral oil I got some for my bamboo block I think I'm gonna find a small japanese rectangle plate to store my razor on and pour mineral oil on it and see if I get any more longevity on the next blade. I have to admit tho its been 10 months I'm seriously tempted to move onto the next one probably just to tweak the setup.
