How easy it is to install this camera? I bought a wired panasonic camera from bestbuy last year - this thing is a pos when it comes to installing it and running it. Had me call my internet provider to release something, all kind of confusing words, havent even been able to use it since then.

I know it's a dumb question, but any difference in the quality/features between the white and black? If I had to guess, I would say it's exactly the same, but the formatting on the amazon pages are a bit different between the two colors..... which is odd. You'd think it would just be on one page with the choice to choose the color before adding it to the cart.

One more question (for now). When you have an installation where the camera is mounted to the ceiling, and the power wire goes through the ceiling (specifically DrGustaf's customer image on Amazon), where does the power wire get run to? an outlet in a different room?

To be fair, I noticed this on the Amazon GB page first, then went here to see if anyone had posted it at around 3:15 AM EST and I swear the only thread I saw was AmandaT's. I usually ignore what Selma is posting because it's generally crap that you have to wait 6-8 weeks to receive

Yea, I was wondering about the setup, (on any camera). That's the main reason I haven't bought one yet. But this one is tempting.

The first generation of these were crap. I have two of these though, and they work well. Obviously bigger images would be nice, but I have mine connected wirelessly in my house with motion alarm between hours I'm not there, it sends me email, and I can log in and listen to audio fine. I can hear 20' away easily. Great features at this price.

The only complaint is I've never been able to get the live feed on my android browser - but the screencap feature works, so I just reload that if I'm trying to check in with my phone.
