Any news about the mysterious 10$ GC coupon expiring today?
I never found one, I think it was from the facebook page and gave 2 days to expire... printed on the 8th expired on the 10th... I did find a comment in another thread where someone used their coupon on the 9th
Some of my Slickdeals:
3 day vacation to Vegas for 4 including flight, lodging, 24 hour buffet, KA tickets, and car - $300
6 day vacation in Buenos Aires, Argentina for 2 including flight, loging, all expenses, and gifts - $1100
Dell XPS 420 + 4y warranty + $50GC, $1299 MSRP - #354.03 shipped +tax
Anolon Titanium 12-Piece set, $399.99 SRP - $29.99 +tax
Dyson DC17 vacuum - $99.99 +tax
Macy's bath towels, $10 MSRP - $0.803 +tax each, in lots of 19.
Were we able to use more than 1 coupon per transaction? I was splitting up transactions and I usually had three $20 items so I was over by a bit each time.
I purchased a $200 christmas tree and was able to use 4 coupons on a single transaction. Wish I would have had more coupons because the cashier was willing to keep scanning coupons until it wouldn't take them.
Off topic..just curious why these 20% deals for gift cards are so popular. You're saving 10 bucks and I would imagine you can get close to the same savings by buying the gift card on E-bay or other gift card retailers. It's almost like a herd mentality...no offense.
It's funny that in your mind this made sense to you as you posted. Thank goodness for people like you on hot deals, or there would be too much competition. I semi-agree with you that 20% off gift cards are easy, I've been doing it for years and years with Deal pass, and still maintain my Buysmart (now mylivetosave) account to buy a maximum of (99) $25 giftcards per year at $20 each.
You can't come close to buying Disney gift cards for what I paid here for them.
-$10 or $8 coupon - I didn't mention it much on the thread, but my later transactions all used $10 off $75 coupons.
- (2) $10 Target GCs
My effective face value of the gift card if I consider the Target gift cards as cash, as I do since we buy groceries there: ~$66 for $100
I bought thousands. No herd mentality here, just sheep that can't think outside of the box.
