It does support .MKV, but if it's like the 210 model, only supports FAT32 USB drives...and the DLNA sucks.
I just received this today and tried the DLNA. I was able to play all the divx and mp4 files perfectly off Windows Home Server. In fact, I thought that it worked a lot better than WD Live. I have not tried any mkv file yet.
I bought this recently at regular price to go with my new Panasonic 3d LCD. I love it.
So I just called Amazon to try and them to give me some cash back since it's $80 today.
She said she couldn't credit my account but she could give me a return label for the first one I bought and then I could buy this one today.
So basically they are paying to ship me a new BluRay player... then I will slap this return label on it and ship it back to them on their dime - then refund me my money. Crazy.
Don't worry, I take them up on it often and don't bat an eyelash. I have noticed though that the refund amount in less a shipping fee. On my text book, I think they took $3 out even though it was a Free SS item originally.
I bought this bc of the glowing reviews online from cnet. Unfortunately, Netflix performance is dissapointing. I Ended up returning my panasonic and buying a sony bd590 - Much snappier netflix with a more ergonomic remote (albeit cheap feeling).
