Limited edition Starbucks steel gift card

Did one of their VP tell USA Today that they will only make 5000 cards? Even if they make 50,000 cards, it is only 2.5 million dollars. Starbucks is a multi-billion dollar company. Do you think they really need a few million dollars?

This is a free advertising for them. I don't think they will make any more of these. Even if they will, they won't probably do it until next Christmas.

Starbucks will make only 5,000 of them. But you can't buy them at any Starbucks store. They'll only be sold via the luxury goods website, urlhasbeenblocked. The card comes with gold-level Starbucks card membership benefits, such as gifts and freebie refills on brewed coffee and tea.
