what is the speed of their High Speed Web? if it's 1 GB at 4G speed then throttled down, i am all in.

High speed plan would've been excellent if HSPA+ not just 3G.

I've never heard the term "fight brand" before.

Should we never talk about "fight brand" ? 9-)

Reading fine print..some things to note.

Network Management: Certain T-Mobile plans may be prioritized over GoSmart Mobile plans during periods of congestion. Service may be slowed, terminated, or restricted for misuse, abnormal use, interference with our network or ability to provide quality service to other users or significant roaming.

..they're pretty much saying "expect to be throttled".

Looks like you don't even get HSPA+ in their most expensive $45 plan..looks to be H only at best (3G speeds).

Someone's going to have to try it out though and see if they warn you like StraightTalk does after 2GB on their "unlimited" plans.

Im still happy on my Walmart TMO plan. $30 for unlimited text, 100 mins of talk, and 5gb of data at 4g speeds then throttled to 2g after. Buying refill cards online you can pay like $26 a month tax free on the plan.

Where are you buying them that gets you $4 off $30? Link? That's a nice chunk of savings.

This.

Use GrooveIP (for simplicity) or any other VOIP option and it's basically an unlimited plan.

Some seller on ebay had the $50 refill cards for $39 a week ago, might still be some available. You get cashback on the purchases too. There was a post about it here, but it got deleted since it wasnt a big name merchant selling them.

Callingmart has various sales too but not as much as the ebay deal

I think the best plan is the T-Mobile prepaid $30 plan with 100 min, unlimited txt, 5GB web at 4G. Works especially well if you use GrooveIP for talking (unlimited minutes essentially).

Ive had better luck and call quality with Talkatone but they may have updated GrooveIP in the mean time havent used it in a while.

Vonage works fairly well too and lets the person on the other end see your Tmobile number on caller ID instead of a google voice one

GrooveIP doesn't yield results if you want to call primarily. Also
"The $30 Unlimited Web & Text with 100 min talk plan works only with T-Mobile Phones purchased from a Walmart store or from Walmart.com."

I guess they call it Monthly 4G plan, but don't allow smartphones to be used. Never looked in detail.
