This bag is great. It easily holds my two DSLRs (T3 and 5D) in addition to three extra lenses, as well as any cables, extra memory cards or batteries and remote shutter release devices. It also has straps on one side to attach a tripod. It is easy to carry around, especially when you are visiting a new place and walking around a lot, or when you are biking. Worth the money.
I got this bag for $14.99 @frys on cyber Monday. It was smaller than I expected, but was big enough to do the job. I put my dslr and a lens in there if I want (like a 50mm or 40mm. You can probably put in a 55-250 if you put it in the right combination) It is basically pretty convenient that you have a case for your camera. It is a big improvement for me because I carried my camera every time I go out just the camera by the camera strap and it gets heavy and in the way. Having a bag does provide some security and a sure way to put it aside in the car.

If you want something small that can hold your SLR Body, couple of lenses(18 and 55-250), battery, charger, strap, usb cables then it is a good one. I am travelling abroad and need something small that can fit a t4i and couple of lenses. This happened to be perfect one for me. Yes the bag is small .
I like the description on amazon:
The Canon 6227A001 100EG Custom Gadget Bag was designed with enough room to hold one or two camera bodies, three to four lenses, as well as an assortment of film, batteries, and other necessities for photographers. Featuring reinforced, padded pockets and compartments, the 100EG is a serious bag for the traveling photographer. Practical and attractive, the 100EG is a great way to protect your equipment from moisture and dust as well as the wear and tear results from excessive handling.
not sure about you but that sounds big! but the measurement is only 10.3 x 8.3 x 7.3 inches. I'd get one but the bag that I currently have is about the same size but can only fit body and two lenses...I guess you may be able to stuff 3 compact lens in it. I would jump on it if it were a little larger....good price though for a name brand bag.
My advice...buy a bag from a yard sale that someone used for their non digital SLR. Make it as ugly and old looking as possible while still getting a really quality bag. I have this horrid green one I got with a camera in it for like $1 and then handed the camera back to them to give away to someone.
Ugly bag = nobody thinks it is worth stealing.
Oh.. and if you prefer a pretty bag this does look like a good deal
