GOOD ONLY ON PRODUCTS SHIPPED FROM AND SOLD BY AMAZON

This was confirmed on 11/19/12 in a telephone conversation with an Amazon customer service representative. It's also stated in the last item of the Terms and Conditions of this promotion: "The promotional credit may only be applied to physical products sold by Amazon.com, and may not be applied to digital downloads or gift card purchases."

Works on pre-orders and Subscribe and Save orders. Cancel your already placed pre-orders, then re-order, and the promotion will be applied.

Works on multiple items combined to equal $25, as long as all items are sold by Amazon, not just fulfilled by them.

This promotion excludes Kindle devices, digital downloads and gift card purchases.

Follow these directions to redeem your promotional credit:

1) Shop for items which state "Ships from and sold by Amazon.com".
2) Add over $25 of eligible items to your cart and proceed to Checkout.
3) On the "Review Your Order" page you will see the $5 savings applied.

Expires on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at 11:59 p.m. PT

NOTE: The Amazon Facebook app will enable social features. The ability to find your friends Wish Lists using Facebook and product recommendations based on your Facebook likes using: Basic info, your email address (Jeff.Bezos@amazon.com), your profile info: description, birthday and likes, your photos, your videos, friends' birthdays, friends' likes, access to post on your behalf

You can undo the Amazon app right after you get your credit, unless your Facebook account is not editable or locked out.

Amazon.com offers $5 off a $25 purchase just for sharing on facebook who is on your gift list for Christmas.

A $5 credit will be applied to your account, and needs to be used by December 9th.
You were one minute away from gaining 900+ rep points...that sucks...

This thread has way too many thumbs up imo. I like amazon as well but it is just $5 savings max. You can use it with multiple accts yes but still just 20% savings on one small order and there have been other deals better than this.

It's not free...you have to spend $20 to save $5 on something. I'm not saying it's bad but just way too many thumbs up, imo..relative to other threads with far superior deals. You can maybe save $25 with this IF you have 5 amazon accounts and IF you have 5 things that you want to buy in the next few days.

There are other threads where you could save/make $1000 and they have like 10 TU.

Sort of agree. I don't have much to order in this price range, and what I do have to order Amazon doesn't sell it or tax kills it. Newegg will be getting my business for a new CPU and motherboard sadly if a deal doesn't show up this month.

Should. Only stipulation I saw was it has to be sold by Amazon.
I tried testing by adding a kindle fire and no promo discount. So yes to items sold by amazon, but certain products.

Any way to filter so that I only get a search result with items sold by amazon?

Will choosing Amazon Prime eligible do the trick?

[please ignore]

EDIT: Just noticed that for some searches, I can select the seller.

+1 for you having a Fb account for this kind of stuff.

I have a junk facebook account for these types of promos.

Now if all of my Fb friends did this.....

...because it costs you nothing to add it to your account, the promo value stacks with any other Amazon deal that may come down the pipe, and you lose nothing if you decide not to make a purchase. I've never seen so much kvetching over a stackable, risk-free promo code.

What do these rep points even mean?! If I see a deal, it really doesn't matter how many rep points they have, as long as I get in on it... Am I missing something?
