Lacks usb 3.0 and dedicated graphic card. For 425 dollars for a desktop, I think it's an OK deal, not too slick.

Edit: Oh you know what, this is a quad core after all. So I guess this might be considered a slick deal.

quick question -- how do you tell if it's a 'dedicated graphic' card or not???? Looking for a new desktop - the price on this one is nice....if it's not 'dedicated' does that mean it's part of the 'mother board'???

dedicated graphic card will have a dedicated graphic card.
otherwise the cpu (i5) will be powering the graphics.
but depends on what you do, having dedicated graphics or not might not matter

It says on the website description: Integrated Intel HD graphics. Since this is a 3rd generation ivy processor, it will have an Intel 4000 graphic processor.

Edit: This is OK for moderate gaming, but don't expect good performance when playing games like BF3 or equivalent. And like the above commenter said, the CPU is powering the graphic. Generally integrated graphics are weak.

this has a hd 2500 graphics, not hd 4000

I guess you're right. I learn something new today, thanks. Does this mean the graphic is weaker than a Intel 3000 graphic? What about mobile CPU on laptop, do they have this exception as well?

Yes this is weaker than hd 3000, most notebook and ultra books have hd 4000 though.

same price on ebay...
