better get it now, i can see some of these selling out soon.

note that the rosewill 80mm fans are only 2500RPM, but if you have enough fans in your case you usually dial them down to lower the noise.

I bought two COUGAR CF-V12HP last week. They have good static air flow, but i am not so happy with them.

They are PWM, but has a very loud high pitch whine to them when running at 20-90% RPM. Whine goes away if you run at 100% rpm but that defeats the point of low rpm quietness.

If you want to know what this whine sounds like listen to this, but louder since I had two running

Also, the cougar has a low but audible clicking noise even when not running on PWM mode. If you work in a very quiet environment this might drive you nuts.

As far as I know, it really depends on what noise level you're willing to tolerate. Chances are, the Coolermaster will be perfectly fine for your application. Zalman has a reputation for quiet fans, and the Cougar fans are supposed to be very quiet and efficient in airflow, but it probably won't make much difference for most gamers, unless you're seriously overclocking or possibly running two GPUs.

I got one CoolerMaster, since I already got a few Cougar fans.

I bought one during a previous $6.99 sale. Probably the best value available even though it won't fit a whole lot of cases stock, most fans in this size range are $15+. I shoved mine into a 14"x14" micro atx tower.
