RAD Cycle Bike Trainer Indoor Bicycle Exercise Portable Magnetic Work Out Cycle $50 *w/ V-me*

I'm in for one. I've always wanted to try one out, if I can get in better riding shape for $50, why not!

I thought about getting one of these trainers but I read that these are terrible for fitness/aerobics and are a poor substitute for a real stationary bike. Any one have experience with these bike trainers?

Hey there. I bought one of these about a month and a half ago through Amazon for a few dollars more than the buy.com deal, shipped via 2 day with prime and ended up returning it after hooking it up to my bike and taking a less than 10 minute ride. 2011 Trek Madone 3.1 with back slick.

People telling you they are using this in your their house are either lying, deaf, or out of shape, plain and simple. You will see the same complaints in all the previous threads where these RAD brand magnetic When you get above 15mph WHHHIIIIIRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR get ready for that.

I'm sure it's loud. I'll probably just play some music if I can't stand it. I'd prefer to be outside riding even in the cold, but this is a last resort to help get in riding shape during the winter. For $50 it doesn't hurt to try it out.

WOW! I was surprised when delivery guy from Fedex carrying two boxes to the door steps...Made me nervous that they charged me twice when I ordered only one. Checked the account and viola, i got charged once and they sent me two.
That aint slick I know but hey!
One is set up now in the garage with my old MTB with kenda kwest and not bad at all on the noise. I would play music or watch something while on it most likely.
Time to flip the other one on crags....

TigerDirect did that to me on a 32" LCD. UPS guy said I have two hear for you. Same tracking number. Dumb shipping and receiving people. I refused the shipment, left him with one and kept mine for the $12.50 shipping charge I had to eat. Still sold it for $300 years later.
