Nice... I got crazy lucky and they shipped mine with ShopRunner on the FP deal and I only paid $17.99. Just got it yesterday and both the travel press and 8 cup press are very nice.

thanks! I got mine from the drugstore.com but they didn't do a good job with packaging so the glass press had a huge crack. returning now and bought this.

The travel press isn't that bad. I have one and use it frequently. But in the Maryland winter, coffee only stays hot for ~30 minutes. I picked up one of their vacuum insulated stainless travel presses for BF to keep the coffee hotter for longer. Can't wait for Christmas to use it.

So what's the consensus, folks; are THESE presses any good?
I purchased the plastic one a few months ago... and it went in the trash bin after the first cup of coffee. Very time consuming, terrible coffee, grinds in the 'joe'. I used my regular machine to make a cup of joe and it was perfect. I had a coffee, once, that was made in an old French Press and it was pretty darned good! Are the glass ones so much better? I beat Selma to the punch, TWICE!
