$200 off isn't that bad. I'm on a 10 year old plan that I'm not planning on changing and have an available upgrade. My only question is where do you put the coupon code in?

this means i can't sell my 16gb nexus for more than $400. because it's only $150 with 2 years contract. not a bad deal if you need to sign a contract.

i would like to know this as well, but i am thinking that it's for new contracts only. same with the free overnight shipping - i can't get that to work doing an upgrade.

oh well. i still may do this since it sounds like tmobile is moving away from subsidized devices so i may as well upgrade my 2 out of contract lines and make some money off of it.

If you want a Nexus and are going to be on T-mobile , this is a good deal

I realized that it was only for new contracts as well. On the plus side, I was able to use an upgrade for a line with no data and still get the upgrade price. My plan is old and still better than pre paid.

LOL, per the T-Mobile link provided "Suggested retail $499".

Since it's out of stock at Google Play store since forever I had this pie-in-the-sky idea that I could pay full price at T-Mobile and just be done with it.

That thought ended faster than it began.

Isn't this pretty horrible for a Nexus 4, since the retail price is only $350 to begin with? Not to mention, doesn't Tmobile reduce your monthly cost if you don't have them subsidize the cost of your phone?

If I were to sign a contract to have a carrier subsidize the cost of a phone I'd rather go for something that normally goes for around $600 off contract, and sell the phone and use part of it to get a Nexus 4 from Google. That way I'd have extra cash, and the phone I wanted.

But excellent thinking. Upgrade to the SGS3 and dump it off. Save the money and order the Nexus when it's back in stock.
