I just bought the Skylanders Starter Pack for Wii for $40.00 at JCP in Buford GA. $75.00, on clearance for $50.00 at register, and used the 20% off coupon mentioned in other thread. Out the door for $40.00

No problem! I was at a store in San Diego last night and there were Skylanders in two parts of the store. Some were near the kids clothes and some were in a special toy section. Plenty of figures were left.

Found them in Sarasota, FL today. They were not marked as clearance but were marked down. I was able to use the 20% off coupon that expires today to sweeten the deal. Thx OP and repped.

Figured they wouldn't have much left, but decided to try anyway.
Both stores in Tulsa, OK had quite a few left tonight. No starter packs, but still a couple of giants, a few 3-packs and a bunch of the individual ones.
Used extra 20% off and got a great deal. Now I have to pack up the ones I had already bought and return them, but I'll be getting more than $100 difference back.

My wife has been a JC Penney button junkie. Some cashiers let you grab a handful of buttons as we did one night at several different registers, other cashiers only let you pick out 1 or 2. We have won at least 10 - $10 off $10 certs and 10 - $5 off $5 certs. The last 2 trips have yielded about $200 worth of merch for about $50. You can only use on cert per transaction so here we are going register to register to spend our many certs AND everything is on clearance, there are signs EVERYWHERE.

Nice to know we aren't the only ones hoping from register to register. We bought every Skylander my kid needed that we could find at all the local 3 JCP. Now we just go and get about 14 buttons and use our certificates to anything on sale. So far we have won 3 $10 and 13 $5 certificates.

Repped you - We used to get piles of buttons but they must've instructed their cashiers to only give out 1 or 2 per transaction. Took the fun out of it but we got so much for nothing from them these past couple trips.

2 really nice cookie sheets - free, toys, small gifts, best place to shop with the certs seems to be in housewares, alot of stuff on clearance and $10 and under.

I happened to walk through JC Penney today & noticed that the Syklanders Giants figures were on clearance for $6.00 & up. I picked up Pop Fizz, Chill & Fright Rider for $6.00 each & Eruptor for $7.00. There were plenty of other figures avail as well. Crusher & Swarm were $10.00 each & I saw the Dragonfire Battle pack with Chop Chop, Shroomboom & Cannon for only $14.00. Reg price for the single pack is $10 and up & the 3 pack is usually $25 - $26. I haven't seen many deals posted since before Christmas so this didn't seem too bad.

Thank you for posting this. Where (which department) is Skylanders stuff located? I didn't even know JCP sold this.

This has been the same price for over a month. Most JCP's have been cleared out. I thought stuff was supposed to keep dropping on the 1st and 3rd friday's of the month...so much for that.

Also would be helpful to know which JCP you were walking through.
