Skylanders Giants at JC Penney on clearance - YMMV

BECAUSE of this thread, I decided to check out my local JCP (in New Tampa, FL) & sure enough, the pickings were slim, but what I did find was at an awesome price. The Plush "talking" Eruptor marked down to $5. Single figures Hex, Chill and Lightcore Jet-Vac (just released if I'm not mistaken) were $4! Definitely YMMV and these were the only figures left at mine!

Oddly enough, they had maybe 4-5 Giants Starter packs for Wii U at $75 a pop! Nowhere near the prices you guys have been seeing above.

They were in wave 2; wave 3 just hit yesterday, has 2 new giants (Thumpback & Eyebrawl), and several re-releases of series 1 figures.

Saw this thread yesterday and checked three stores today in the Chicago area. Found one 3 pack of figures for $10, as well as the Wii U set for $30, but it was previously opened. Otherwise, nothing but plush toys on clearance for $5 a pop.

Just curious where in the Chicago Area? I know I saw none a few recently at Stratford and Woodfield had some left last week.

None in Orland Park or Mokena. The Matteson store had the Wii U Giants Starter set for $30 open item. I tried to talk them down and they said that it retails for $70. I didn't need it anyhow. The cashier left it behind the counter, so hopefully it finds its way back to the clearance shelf.
