Is this better than the 309? Does it have the same heating issues? Debating returning my other refurb Onkyo order (haven't opened it yet).

What makes it a receiver as opposed to an amplifier is the presence of the tuner. You can buy separate components, but why bother.

Hi gang. I bought the sr 313 on the last onkyo refurb deal. I am having a problem getting video to show up on my panny gt 30, though. The audio plays (from my cable box) but there is only a black screen. I am pretty sure everything is hooked up correctly. Hdmi in to receiver from cable and bluray and out from receiver to tv hdmi 1. Weird. Any thoughts?
Everything works when I go cable box to tv and digital audio from tv to receiver but I'd rather run hdmi. |

I'm in need of an entire home theater system, and the 25% off onkyo referbs seems like it's a pretty good deal.
I was thinking of getting the HT-S7409 setup. The reciever seems pretty good and the reviews around the internet seem good. https://www.shoponkyo.com/detail....&ext_war=1 Anyone have any thoughts on it? Also, it says that refubs don't come with any cords....what will I need to buy to get this up and running? Thanks |

This isn't a network receiver. So, no Airplay that I am aware of. However, you can plug your iphone directly into the receiver. I wanted Airplay too, but for me it really wasn't worth the extra $150 it would have cost. For the price, this will work perfect. Thanks again OP. |
