Argh, I hate this.
The practical-ist in me says that at $105, this is totally fine (can't remember if they tax CA), but the techie in me says "for $95 more I can get a Nexus 7!" Damnit. EDIT: Techie wins. Last edited by rebelx; 12-07-2012 at 03:00 AM.. Problem with a Fry's Electronics Rebate? Click me.

And this one works absolutely fine with CM7? I thought I remember reading these get bricked when you do the SD card thing? Is it a different image or gaps file as the regular nook or everything is still the same?

Don't know about cm7 , buy mine woks great with cm10. So good in fact that I bought 4.

Good cpu, 1gb ram, good screen, sd card expansion, no cameras. Great performer with cm10.
Unless you have a feature specific requirement, I'd get these instead of any other <$100 tablet. The nexus and other $200 tabs are going to be a bit faster, but at this price its a solid performer. |

Plus, it comes with a 1 yr warranty, and all you have to do is drop it off at a Barnes and Nobles. No mailing!! |

I'd love to get this but my boys would like a camera on their tablet. Does anyone know of a comparable tablet for $100 or so with a camera?
