I wish they would have the 250 GB Holiday bundle on sale for $199 again. Missed that deal from before.

Walmart also has a bundle with a 3 month Live card for $180. You can choose either 4gb plain console, or the 4gb Skylanders bundle. Both prices are $180, but Skylanders bundle may not arrive before Christmas if they don't have it in stock in your local store. If you don't mind the white color, then the Skylanders bundle is a better deal. Just scroll down where it asks you to select console, and the Skylanders one is the second console on the list.

I am hoping someone out there can answer my question. I have an Xbox 360 that is about 6-7 years old. I would like to buy the Kinnect sensor and a few games and start using it. Will I run into any problems doing this since it's so old?

Mal, that's a bit wide of topic but I'm a gracious host so I will answer
 No you will not have any problems. The Kinect will hook up to both the new and old XBox's - the old XBox's just require an extra wire for AC power (that is included with the Kinect) The only problem you will run into is the red ring of death - shocked that you haven't already given the age of that console. XBoxes of that age failed at about a 50% clip. |

Yeah I figured the same thing. I do not need it for a gift. I was thinking of using it as a windows media extender in my basement where I have is a PS3 to stream media files currently. Unfortunately, I can't get the PS3 to stream 5.1 sound properly with wma10\wmv files so I figured just putting another XBox down there would solve the problem and allow me to play games there as well. I know I can do that with the 4 GB verson too, but for $50 more for a 250GB disk, it would seem pointless to buy the 4GB version. |
