Thanks, been debating between these and the 50s and 40s and since these went back on sale first I went ahead and got them.

I woke up this morning to the price alert email from Newegg, and there was no way i was going to beat selma...

anyways, i'm picking up a set of used M70s, a CS2, used M40s+stands and some speaker wire fro $375 from CL. if that doesn't go through tomorrow, i'll be grabbing these.

Hate them for this.. Waited two weeks to buy a sub, ended up settling for the Polk PSW 505.

Now they tell me that for an extra $100 I could have gotten this beauty.

Newegg, you screwed me over. I know you had dem basses available.

Wow that is a good deal. All the Home theater equipment I see on CL in my area has been going for more than the SD price lately.

people on craigslist are hillarious. in my area you'll find micro satellite speakers with 10 year old receivers for $300-400. then you'll find dozens and dozens of people selling their towers w/o matching centers, and you wouldn't even be able to find a relatively cheap priced matching center. then there are the few people who have some decent stuff, but they want to charge MSRP for their used or sealed stuff...

you have to be really vigilant and look every day if you want to find a good deal, because chances are it'll be snapped up before you get to it. the other day i saw a matching front set of infinity primus towers and C250 center for $100, was sold within 24 hours.

Thanks. I picked up the RW-12d. I missed it the last time it was on on sale for $300 and have been hoping it would get back down to that price.

Just wondering if some one help me with some advise on if 60s should be enough or should go for 70 [With double the price] for long run. Kind of debating on which one should i buy. Any one who already own either of these or have own both of them and can provide some clear idea.

The 70s are usually on sale for 150 each on newegg. I'm using them as fronts and just got the 60s for rears.

Thanks. I have polk setup at home, but had not have any floor standing yet. Was thinking to get for front first, would you think 60 should be enough or should go for 70. I have a decent hall and love music and movies.

got the monitor 60's on BF and the CSII, they sound amazing. still breaking them in, but man what a difference from my dinky satellite speakers

the 70 is better than the 60. but if you're trying to save some money the and have a subwoofer the 60 will do the job just fine.

I haven't compared the two bc I just ordered the 60s but I would wait and spend the extra 100 for the 70s. If you are going to take up this much space you might as well have the added speaker that the 70s have
