the new version 4.2 actually did cheat on the battery setting. if you change the brightness to "auto", it will default to 20% on the brightness. on version 4.1, "auto" brightness will stay at 50%. so it's not that they improved on the new version of android, they just cheat it. you get lower brightness as default but you gain more battery life.

turn off that stupid NFC feature too. it's good on paper but you are not using it everyday anyway. QR code is a way to go. Bestbuy stores start to give out QR tags this holiday. it costs less to print those QR Tags. while 50% smart phones have QR apps vs 1% of them can scan NFC tags.

The 8gb version sold out at the play store and the 16gb ships in 6-7 weeks. I don't know what you mean by "people got nexus shipped everyday". Anyways I am gonna wait and see if the LG optimus l9 drops even more in price otherwise I'll probably just pick up the nexus 4 when it becomes available at the play store.

People who ordered on the 27 are receiving them now, but apparently some poeple have not even received a shipping notice. Anyways, the point is that it is not readily available. If stock did replenish today, it must of been sold out before I got up at 7:30 AM EST.

go back there and read. they did not order on the 27. they ordered it 2 days ago and got shipping notice yesterday. i can't sell any of my Nexus now.

Ok, but your not understanding the point. It is sold out therefore the supply (amount of phones to be sold) does not meet the demand (amount of people who want to buy phones) and it is not READILY available. I never asked to buy your Nexus, why would you even mention that you cannot sell "any of my Nexus now".

If it was Readily available, I could go on the site right now and buy it. It may of been in stock two days ago, but that stock did not meet demand since it is sold out now. You cannot even place an order now. The point is not that who were able to get an order in got a shipping notice in two days, but rather that it is out of stock now. You did not ask me to buy your Nexus, but you told me you cannot sell "any of my Nexus" implying that I had asked about buying you Nexus, which apparently never happened.

you said earlier that only those who ordered on the 27 but i pointed out that even people got in couple days ago and got shipped the next day. so how is it the supply/demand when they got it shipped the next day just couple days ago? yes, google has plenty instock. it's just so overwhelmed that they will have to take care order by order case. eventually, everyone will have it. i am just surprised on those posts too when they said they got it shipped next day just by ordering a couple days ago.

Shipping has nothing to do with it. It is the fact that right now, at this very moment you cannot even place an order for a phone. When you place an order, that designates you a phone or however many phones you ordered. Having the phone or phones shipped the next day does not matter. It could be shipped in a week, but the point is that when you place that order, the supply is diminished. Right now the supply is gone since you cannot even place an order. Whether Google is overwhelmed or if they have plenty in stock is just speculation.

I do not wish to buy your Nexus, but apparently you are unable to make a connection between two statements.
