Mine has a fair amount of back light bleeding as well. Something similar to this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=voXY9t3Rv0w It's not all that bad, because it only shows up on when the screen is entirely black. I can live with it. Edit: I noticed that I get pretty bad static noise when I plug in my earphones/headphones. Only comes from the right side. Strange. Last edited by SycoraX; 12-11-2012 at 01:25 PM.. |

Could be the headphones or port... Usually if its one side it means that the port is not working right. Try wiggling the cord in the hole or rotating it... Also try another headset if you can.

Squaretrade's warranty of 3yrs+ADH is for new laptops only and for refurbished, it is 1yr with the option of extending it to 2yrs, but no ADH.

Just called to confirm my warranty... Nope, it wasn't in the system. I said that I would order another but the coupon code would not work again and they happily gave me a fresh 30% off code.

Really sweet laptop. Just minor screen bleed (I would not have noticed had I not been looking for it on the startup screen... not noticeable at all otherwise, Got the squaretrade offer for $85/3 year and booked it. |

I got the squaretrade email right after I purchased the laptop. It was still valid today. I have never had a squaretrade warranty so maybe that is it. |
