any Nexus 7 tablets deals current/upcoming?

you will see deals on the 32. the 16, not so much

I just bought a 16gb the display model (it was the last one) for $160. Perfect condition not one scratch. See if you can grab the last one, if it's in good condition why not get one for 40 bucks less!

Are stores going to still be stocking 16s?

I went to pc richards near me and they said no just 32gb ones

I've been looking daily for about two weeks for deals on a 16gb. Nothing so far. Office Max, Office Depot, and Staples still stock the 16.

Same. Unfortunately, a lot of those places are "in store only", negating any possible online coupon or anything. Hoping something comes up, as there were some great deals early in November.

Buydig via eBay has been posting weekly deals on the 32gb for $230 shipped since November. They have all made front page and usually sell out in a day. The last one though was ended early and had some issues with shipping (inventory shortage is suspected). I ordered it on Dec 1st and will arrive Dec 12th. Put a subscription in SD for "Nexus 7" so you will be notified as soon as people post something.

I ran out of patience and just bought (or possibly rented for 14 days) a Nexus 7' 16 GB today from Staples for $199 (reg $249 supposedly). Had been shopping for one long enough and it was local, about the best price I could find yet, and after playing with it and Jellybean, I just couldn't say no. While its not much, at least I have 14 days to either fall in love or cry wolf.
That said, and after the last few hours of playing, I don't see myself returning it unless I find a deal elsewhere saving at least... $40 bucks or more.

$199 is the MSRP for the 16GB, $249 for 32 GB.

No warranty, questionable treatment by customers, and battery beat up by constantly being on and being charged. When plenty of places sell it without sales tax, saving a scant $25 is no deal at all.
