Americans are so enamored of equality that they would rather be equal in slavery than unequal in freedom.... The subjection of individuals will increase amongst democratic nations, not only in the same proportion as their equality, but in the same proportion as their ignorance. ALEXIS DE TOCQUEVILLE, |

i bought the blue one, but said it was found defective in a final test. Since other SDers bought all of the blue ones, they offered me a black one or a refund. i chose the black one. not sure on what to do now. Im with t-mobile btw. i even cut up my sim card into a nano sized one. i taped everything back together and put it back in my unlocked att htc titan. lol Last edited by chris83190; 12-08-2012 at 12:26 PM.. |

The HTC is a very nice phone, and lighter and slimmer than the Lumia 920, but I feel the 920 is by far the better phone if you do not mind the size and weight (which most of us users do not find an issue). It has a better display, more memory, ultra sensitive touch, Optical Image Stabilization, Nokia exclusive apps, and much better support. My daughter has an HTC freestyle that she has been cussing at for almost 10 years. Everybody who has that phone has messaging issues, and yet HTC has not shown any interest if fixing it, while Nokia admits its issues and gets updates out quickly to fix them. Of course only ATT has the 920, at least of a little while, so if you are not on ATT, it is not an option. My Nokia 920 is the best phone I have ever owned.

Not a bad deal at all for those Windows Phone fanatics out there. I use the iPhone 5 but I'm curious, how well do any of you out there with a Windows Phone find it the OS to be?
Features like the live tiles and its elegant design always seemed interesting to me. |

I sold my iPhone to go back to Windows Phone when the Lumia 920 came out. The iPhone has a lot of software, but the OS itself lacks basic functionality that WP7 and now WP8 have out of the box. I'm annoyed that MS didn't require the manufacturers to include an FM antenna for WP8 and I still think the WP7 iteration of the music application and the WP7 Office applications are better. I won't ever find another phone that is the level of perfection my LG Quantum was, but my Lumia 920 is the second best phone I've ever owned. The WP8 OS is a better os than WP7 was, but there are some changes that I understand but don't care for. If you're into music Xbox Music is the end all be all. You won't find anything better anytime soon, and that's just a fact. Spotify might have more music selection, but it sounds like ass in comparison. Office is full blown office on WP. Exchange is full blown Exchange. WP8 even has fricking Sharepoint. I don't game so I can't say what the gaming is like --but I wouldn't go back to an iPhone if someone paid me --and I made money off my last iPhone.... |
