Where can I get Ipad 2 Screen Replacement
My 2 year cracked my ipad 2 screen and it's getting worse day by day. Can anyone point me to a decent reliable replacement? Googled and tons popped up but don't know which one to buy from. A how-to link would be appreciated too. TIA

.. there should be enough guides there for all your needs. As for where to buy? Ebay is your best bet. Pay through paypal so you don't have to worry about getting screwed over (paypal apparently almost always sides with the buyer in disputes). I would say find a seller with decent positive feedback, but I'm sure there are plenty of people out there selling replacement screens that will work just fine. Hope that helps  .

Is it still under the original 1-year warranty from Apple? If so, take it to an Apple store first (assuming you have one nearby). Sometimes they offer a cheap 'fix' (which consists of swapping your tablet for another one) - this is ~$100 for iphones, dunno if it's more for ipads.
Also, sometimes they take pity on you & will do a one time free replacement, even in cases of accidental damage. Could be worth a shot! |
