Looks like pretty crappy table, and a mediocre set, except for the track, you are basically paying for the track, be warned though, the cars are very loud, I have a set of Cars 2 Grand Prix that I got for $30, it is very nice, tracks are nice quality and it looks pretty cool (VERY SHORT TRACK, THOUGH) but the darn thing is very loud. I can't complain about the cars (came with one mcmissile dude and yellow car, they are both nice, and a remote, and set of tracks) they are nice quality, but I would never pay full price for geotrax, get a wooden track set that's more configurable if you can. Do not pay premium for Geotrax. You will thank me when you try to build a bigger one and realize tracks cost a fortune and you cannot find a cheaper compatible set.
I am looking for track expansion for $10-$15 .

This is what I got for $30 and would not pay a dime more than $30 for it:

Look at this, $20 for just a few cross tracks? Are you kidding me?

Bought one for my 18 month old, despite the reviews. It seems like the biggest complaint is the little annoyance of the tables not "staying together", which seems to me like it would be an easy fix with velcro. I like that it can be configured several ways. The wood train table we now have is not big enough for the GeoTrax sets we already have so they often end up on the floor. For this price, I was willing to try it out....... thanks op

So after reading all 18 reviews on tru, its a NO go for me. Be it cheap, rather buy quality stuff for my kids

Tables r pos
Tray too small
Not all tracks on box design r included

For the price seems worth a try. It could be junk at 179...@ $50. Could be worth it

In for one...
Thanks OP

We bought first set when my 11 year old was about 3 years old. We've since added 3 more kids and they all love geotracks. I actually enjoy building the tracks with them! Also, we've yet to break a piece, so I'm not real clear on where the "quality" issue is coming in. No, they are not "collector" trains, but they ARE super fun to play with. I will admit that the more track you have, the more fun they are to play with. One set of track would not be enough. But we have made some complicated set ups that keep the kids entertained for hours.
